Jango Fett's Slave I (Lego 7153) - Released 2002
I was jumping up and down when I got Jango Fett's Slave I, because it also contained the Jango Fett minifig (very rare!) and young Bobba Fett. There is also a Lego Slave 1 with Bobba Fett and Han Solo in carbonite. But this is the original!
There are 358 lego pieces in the box, and it makes quite a big ship as you can see.
One of the very cool features is the fact that the arms pivot when you move the ship from horizontal to vertical. And the cockpit moves with it, so Jango and Boba always look straight ahead. You can release 'bombs', and there is a secret container that holds missiles.
Note that the moving laser guns are missing in this picture. I have my little brother to thank for that! >-(
While I really like the looks, I don't play with the Slave a lot. I get mad when the black protection 'thingies' (don't know how they are named) that are at the sides of the pivot (see detail picture) comes off. This happens very often, as they are only connected to the ship with 2 studs.
Other than that, the ship is very nice. And I get to brag to my friends that I have Jango Fett of course! :-D
