R2D2 Toy "Simon" Game
This R2D2 toy game was a gift of my lady friend Carla, and I've never seen it anywhere. It works exactly like the classic electronic game Simon, where you have to repeat a string of 4 different tones, and each time you repeat it correctly, the string gets one tone longer.
This Star Wars version of 1997 (by Tiger Electronics) does the same, only with the sounds R2D2 makes. Click on the play button to hear the actual sounds of the game!
Here's a picture of the game:
As you can see, there are 2 versions of the game. Version 1 is where the computer adds the next tone to the string (repeating the entire string + one tone). Version 2 is where YOU add the next tone, after you played the entire string of tones correctly (and then the computer repeats your string).
This really is the simplest of games, but I found it quite addictive! Plus, I have not seen this game in anyone's collection. So it's either rubbish, or very rare. :-)
